ABOUT GALLERI SAND
Galleri Sand’s first exhibits were in seaside cabins along the coast of Norway. It began with Ole Sand, a self taught artisan in the 1920’s, whose love of art and craftsmanship, was passed down from generation to generation, which evolved into an extended family of cooperative artists.
The collective has maintained artist run galleries in Norway and internationally, among them, in the West Village, New York City. Galleri Sand also has an ongoing pop-up galleri that has exhibited in over 90 cities, with over 400,000 visitors.
We’re committed to promoting a broad variety of framed prints and wall art, featuring diverse styles that celebrate expressive power.
